Submissions are closed!

That's a wrap! Submissions for the 4th annual Art and Olfaction Awards are officially closed.

With a marked increase in submissions this year, the 2017 Awards will present a stellar group of perfumers and creative practitioners with scent.

As is our custom, we will post participation statistics within the coming week. In the meantime, our big thanks to all the perfumers and artists who decided to participate, and a massive thanks (in advance!) to our devoted group of judges.

They certainly have their work cut out for them.

Submissions are open.

The time is now!

We are now accepting submissions for the fourth annual Art and Olfaction Awards.

Submission for the awards are made through a two-part submission process:

  1. The online submission form (accessible at the button, below)
  2. A physical package containing the perfume

Once you submit your online form, you will receive an email with instructions about sending your physical submission to the IAO.

Submissions open:  9:00 am (PST) / 6:00 pm (CEST) Wednesday October 5, 2016
Online submission form closes: 11:59 pm (PST), Monday November 28, 2016 / 8:59 am (CEST) Tues. Nov 29
Post deadline*: Monday December 12, 2016
* We allow a grace period of two weeks to get the perfume to us in the mail.

Announcement of finalists: March, 2017 at Esxence in Milan
Award ceremony: Saturday, May 6, 2017 at Silent Green Kulturquartier in Berlin

Auf Deutsch!

Der jährlich an vier Parfumkreationen sowie ein Kunstprojekt verliehene Art and Olfaction Award wurde dazu ins Leben gerufen, unabhängig arbeitende Parfümeure sowie auf experimentelle Weise mit Duft tätige Akteure in den Blickpunkt der Öffentlichkeit zu rücken. Unsere Hoffnung ist es, durch den Fokus auf einzelne großartige Kreateure und deren Würdigung allgemeine Aufmerksamkeit und Begeisterung für die Independant-Sparte des Parfummarkts zu erzeugen und somit deren Arbeit zu unterstützen.

2017 AWARDS: INFORMATION

Submissions for the fourth annual awards open at 9am PST, Wednesday October 6, 2016. The online submission form closes on 11:59pm PST, Monday November 28, 2016, with a grace period of two weeks to get the perfume to us in the mail.
