With just a month to go before the submissions deadline, we wanted to send a quick update on how it's all going! The short answer is very well. The long answer is... very VERY well. But we're not too big to admit that we need your help.

We're receiving submissions daily, and processing the vials as they arrive in the mail, in all three categories. In support of that effort, some of our lovely friends in the blogosphere have provided some generous and very supportive coverage:

• Ainslie Walker at Australian Perfume Junkies put out this nice post to the community down under
• Our friends at Fragrantica wrote a very detailed blog post about the awards as a whole
• And there are a few more coming... We'll share them when they hit the internet.

Will you help us spread the word? We are a community effort, and we want to serve the broadest group possible. This will only be possible with your help: Please consider posting about the awards on your blog, tweeting (our handle is @AOAwards), Facebooking or simply emailing your perfumer friends! To make it easier for you, we posted some useful information over on our media room page.

And, hey, if you're a perfumer or an artist who works with scent, then be sure to submit! The online submission form is due on or before December 19, and the that day also marks the postmark date to get the vials in.

We'll be looking forward to smelling what you come up with.
